Welcome to the Music Center Foundation

Working together, we are building a permanent and sustainable funding base for the performing arts at The Music Center in downtown Los Angeles, home of Walt Disney Concert Hall, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Mark Taper Forum and Ahmanson Theatre.

Our Mission

The Music Center Foundation was established in 1973 to provide endowment support to The Music Center/Performing Arts Center of Los Angeles County, its educational activities, dance programs and Resident Companies:

      • Center Theatre Group
      • Los Angeles Master Chorale
      • Los Angeles Opera Association
      • Los Angeles Philharmonic Association

The Music Center Foundation is responsible for building the endowment to support performing arts at The Music Center through asset management, planned giving and fundraising.

The Music Center Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.
